Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her role as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. The daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with first childhood memories of watching TV and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk appeared in several commercials when she was a kid. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to further her acting career in the month of November 1999. She later, in the next decade, she moved into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at a Los Angeles Actors Workshop in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009 and married during a civil ceremony December that same year. They renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton and the couple converted to Judaism. Silk welcomed a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second child born on the 13th of May 2016. Silk has several role on television, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Her nomination for an award called the Gemini for this role in 2009. In 2009, she got the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant while filming the final episode of season three. On January 6, 2013, she revealed this to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the show would return to production. The fourth season began in June of 2013 through Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN's Cable News Network named her character Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in the show Lost Girl as same-sex couples the most cherished TV Couples. E! Magazine named them as the top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of the show's popularity, Silk has cultivated a huge online following on social media.
